Paranoid…
November 28th, 2005 under Chasing The Dream, About "The Bloodlines of Rollinsford". [ Comments: 2 ]

I’ve been worried ever since my fallout with my first agent. Though it is very unlikely, I fear that “The Bloodlines of Rollinsford” could have gotten into dishonest hands, and could be published already under a different name and title.

I find myself stopping at book racks in the grocery store and mall whenever my eye is caught by a book that seems to be about vampires. I read the synopsis, fearful that I will see my plot outlined there, but am always relieved to see that it is something completely unlike my story. I remain paranoid, however, that I will soon come across my book on the shelves…

I need to get my work published…

About The Excerpts I Have Posted

READ THIS PRIOR TO VIEWING THE EXCERPTS THAT I HAVE POSTED BELOW

The two excerpts that I have posted (one for each book that Jeff and I focusing on for representation and publication) represent the two polar extremities of my work. It is important for anyone who is visiting this site to understand that if you are here as a result of my contacting you specifically about “The Dominance Flush,” I can assure you that you will find the excerpt for “The Bloodlines of Rollinsford” to be a completely different read, and potentially disturbing at that. Not all of my writing is as geared towared religious persons (or suitable for young age groups) as “The Dominance Flush” is. That said, read “The Bloodlines of Rollinsford” excerpt at your own risk.

Thank you,

E.Y.

WARNING: This excerpt is very graphic, and I advise against reading it if you are uncomfortable with violent and disturbing images of childbirth. It is a very necessary part of the book, and I trust that those of you who choose to read it will understand that I portray the birth of Ezeth in this manner in order to show the evil comes to dominate him, as a result of his diabolical nature, later on in the story. This still remains one of my favorite manuscripts, and I trust that those of you who decide to read it will understand how I create a whole new spin on the already tired Vampire genre.

A Brief Synopsis of “The Bloodlines of Rollinsford”
June 9th, 2005 under About "The Bloodlines of Rollinsford". [ Comments: 2 ]

Vampires exist in this world, most dwelling together in various, somewhat isolated, clans. Though most clans adhere to their own separate systems of belief and religion, they are all united under one god, and realize that He is every bit as powerful as the god worshiped by their mortal victims.
