Holy #@%&! It’s starting!
January 27th, 2009 under Current Events. [ Comments: none ]

Well, it actually started last summer when the US economy started to go into the red. Companies started trying to bank on the fears of consumers who were afraid to spend their money because their jobs might be cut or that their wages could be… um… cut as well. Still, this commercial is one of the most ridiculous gimmicks I have ever seen, and it paints a very clear picture of what we can likely expect from both foreign and domestic corporations until this crisis is over. I saw this commercial on television just 10 minutes ago, and I immediately left what I was watching to post it here. Blech.

Just watch this pile of shit, and note that they don’t tell you exactly what kind of return on your investment you might be getting by selling the car back to them within that one year period.

Taran, Jake and Dylan, your videos suck!!!
January 25th, 2009 under Family Pictures and Events. [ Comments: 5 ]

He he… I’m just kidding. Great job guys.

The following video was filmed partially in my own home for my Step-son’s Spanish project. My Step-son, Taran, together with my cousins, Jake and Dylan (and what appear to be a few groupies from York High School) made this video. Great job guys.

(I will continue to flame you on youtube for the cheap post-production… IN YO’ FACE!!!)

It’s funny as hell. Taran with the wig and moustache in the second video = priceless. Mastercard. Whoa… WTF did I just say?

“No! Noooooo! Noooooooooooooooo! Necesito un montaje!” Nice!

By the way: WAY TO RIP OFF “BLAZING SADDLES” IN THE SECOND VIDEO. Sorry… just giving you guys notes.

Barack Obama: America’s 44th President

Whether you are a believer in President Barack Obama’s message of change or not, the time has come, and just moments ago the 44th President of the United States of America was sworn in. This is a time of great historical significance in our great nation’s history, and should not be taken lightly (even by you skeptics… I know who you are).

To those of us who supported this great man, the message is no longer, “yes we can,” it is, “Yes… we… did!”

To those of you who continue to hate Barack Obama because of his skin color, political party, or whatever other crap your brain might be vomitting (yes, I said vomitting crap… IT MAKES SENSE TO ME, DAMN IT), I’ll just say this:

Deal with it.

Here’s to what I am certain will be a very successful Presidency, at a time when we need it the most.

Japanese Television: Still Crazy
January 13th, 2009 under Completely Random and Pointless. [ Comments: none ]

I get so lazy this time of year. I know that the depression that follows the holidays is a big contributor to this, and am doing my best to shed it… who am I kidding, I’m failing miserably. In an attempt to rid myself of some of this mental crap, I’m back to blogging, and what better way to start out the first post of 2009 than with a video of people acting out a real-life Super Mario Brothers level on some random Japanese television show. It’s pretty funny. It made me laugh anyway.

If you’ve ever beaten Super Mario World and have a place in your heart for that nostalgic little… whatever that Bowser flies around in during the last fight, be ready to lol like crazy. Watch out for Obama in there too.

Enjoy!
