Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two years, you have atleast heard of a show called LOST. My wife, Dina, and I are avid fans despite a drop in the following during the current season. This current run took a break in November in order to air 16 back-to-back episodes starting February 7, 2007 (Dina’s birthday), and when that happened it seemed to be too much for most fans to handle… myself included.
I came across the following preview on youtube (the site I have found to be an endless supply of media for my own commentary here). I’ll say that it reinforces my understanding that the break was necessary to avoid re-runs, and that when the season picks back up it is going to KICK ASS!

I’m excited too. I’m thinking that the break will be worth it once the season picks back up again. Sixteen episodes in a row with no re-runs? Boo yes!

You guys have it better in America than we do here in the UK. Our wait is even longer! We just got episode 6 of season 3!
