I’ve been thinking about “The Dominance Flush” alot lately. There are a number of religious movies that Dina (my wife) and I have been watching, and I thought that I would talk about one of them that I find particularly funny here.
Anybody who has seen the movie “Saved” will agree that it is a hilarious portrayal of circumstances that surround a person losing, then regaining their faith. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. I won’t ruin the plot for you, but I will leave a few quotes from the movie below…
- “Who’s down with G-O-D?!”
- “Anyway… it’s all about populating the planet, and good Christians don’t get jiggy with it until they’re married.”
- “You’re not born a gay… you’re born again!”
- “Prayer works, it’s been medically proven!”
- “I gotta go… we’re putting on a Christian haunted house. Happy Halloween!”
- “I am filled with Christ’s love!” (as she throws a bible at the main character)
- “I just crashed my van into Jesus!” “Well maybe we could fix him with some glue or something…”
- “Now that I’m thinking about it, what would Jesus do? I don’t know, but in the meantime I’ll be figuring it out.”
